Historic Greeley Maps, collected by Norm Noe, available at our store.
These maps from days gone by are from the collection of amateur history buff ~ Norm Noe. Many years ago he started gathering a select group of books and materials of Greeley and the Union Colony.
Several friends and business acquaintances loaned him their original, large wall maps and gave him permission to have photographic copies made. These maps were “shot” through special non-reflective glass by famed WWII photographer “Skeats” Calvin at the “Greeley Journal.” Copies were printed on parchment paper.
An Open Book is very excited to have these maps and not only inform residents of our 18th century beginnings but offer these maps for sale. Our store has set #1 for purchase, as set numbers “6” and “20” were given to Weld School District and the Masonic Lodge many years ago.
The complete numbered unframed set is $100. A limited amount of un-numbered individual maps are $30 each.
